LRCD TREE & SHRUB PROGRAM

The 2025 Tree Sale is now CLOSED!

If you missed us this year, make sure to subscribe to our email announcements for future tree sale news.

For those of you who placed orders, your trees will be ready for pickup at our office on Friday, APRIL 25 & Sat April 26 (Until Noon)

Even though our Tree Sale is currently closed, the District continues to sell Tree Survival Aids and other miscellaneous supplies throughout the year. Reach out to us if you're interested in purchasing a compost bin, weed barrier fabric, TransFilm, HydroSource, or fertilizer tablets.

Please note: LRCD was not able to purchase any Rocky Mountain Juniper saplings for the 2025 sale this year. We apologize for the inconvenience as we recognize these are typically one of our staple items provided each year. If you are in need of any Junipers, we encourage you reach out to your local or regional nursery!

If you would like to be added to our electronic distribution list for Tree Sale updates and notifications, please fill out our contact form here, and we will get you on the list!

OUR ANNUAL TREE SALE

Each year LRCD hosts our popular seedling tree & shrub sale that provides Albany County and surrounding areas with affordable, conservation grade, trees and shrubs for both urban and rural residents.

The program historically sells between 5500-6000 seedling trees and shrubs each Spring.

Tree and shrub varieties are selected by our Resource Specialist for their overall hardiness and ability to grow in our unique, high plains climate.
