One LRCD staff serves as a liaison for the Pilot Hill Board, helping to advise them on conservation topics including water quality, trail design, and erosion control methods. LRCD Board of Supervisors have financially supported the Pilot Hill Recreation Area and Wildlife Habitat Management Area in the past by covering a portion of the annual lease payment owed to the State of Wyoming.
